If any working woman out there is like me, then I know time can be limited in the morning. Frankly, for me sleep is gold, and if I need to sacrifice some "getting ready" time for some extra minutes of zzz's, then I'm all for it. Of course, I come to regret it when I'm rushing to run out the door. As a makeup artist, I feel the pressure is on to always look my best. I mean, what kind of example would I be setting if I didn't look the part?
It dawned on me that if I was feeling this way (and this is my profession) then how must other women feel? This, coupled with the fact that I am always asked: "what makeup should I wear?", I figured women need something, pronto!
What's more, I wanted to help the woman who specifically does not enjoy going to department stores and that finds it less than appealing to have to face all the different makeup and beauty products, from all the different cosmetic lines and multiple sales associates wanting to give them makeovers. If I were in those shoes, I would feel intimidated and, well...I wouldn't want to do it.
Tru Hue is intended to take the guess work out of the every day beauty routine and your makeup for work. You follow the steps and that's it. You look polished, put-together and ready to face the day with an extra skip in your step. Let's face it, we do things better when we feel good about ourselves. Confidence is everything!
Your makeup for work should be subtle but enough to make your features stand out. A nice, even skin tone, a bit of color to give dimension to the face, liner and mascara to define the eyes, well-groomed and shaped eyebrows and lightly-colored lips, and you have all the components you need to look put-together.
